A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Fulton County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains internal unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Fulton County Criminal History does not compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It explains how to reach the sheriff, Circuit Clerk, ISP Bureau of Identification, and Illinois Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into a third-party criminal file or consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies power the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and sharing rules govern information submitted through those tools. Review the provider's policy before entering a query because this policy does not control that processing.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff and court pages, state systems, legal-aid resources, or outside tools. Once a reader follows one, the destination's privacy policy applies. Check it before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and tailor ads. We do not operate that tracking.

Illinois FOIA, 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq., governs requests to Illinois public bodies, while the Uniform Conviction Information Act, 20 ILCS 2635/2, governs public ISP conviction information. Those official-record laws do not turn this private site into a government records custodian. For data held here, you may:
