Illinois law opens many government records, yet access still depends on choosing the correct custodian. The Fulton County Sheriff maintains sheriff-created arrest, booking, jail, and warrant material. The Fulton County Circuit Clerk keeps filed charges, docket entries, dispositions, and court orders. ISP operates the statewide conviction-information system, while the Illinois Department of Corrections and the Illinois Sex Offender Registry serve separate purposes. We organize verified contacts, official search routes, request methods, and published fees so those systems are easier to distinguish.
